Strategy Writeup

Try to bring Greenleaf to increase corrored protection and Adrenaline to run faster.

This boss plays very similar to Shroud. It will try to stay distant to you while throwing projectiles and conjuring irradiated magic. The best strategy is trying to stay near it dealing damage. Dodge any incoming attack and run away when it casts the irradiated cloud or bombardment.

Attacks & Counters

Attack Counter
Phase 1
Corroded Sting: It will launch an corroded sting from the staff dealing damage Dodge to either side
Teleport: It can teleport to a new location You can see where it will appear. Try to run there and keep close distance
Irradiated Cloud: It will conjure a spell that creates an corroded area around you dealing damage When you see the area growing run away from the circle
Corroded Bombardment: It will conjure a bombardment of corrarsion at your location Run straight until the attack finishes.

Playing through the game with a friend and this is one of the hardest bosses I have fought on hard difficulty along with Ixalis and Scourge. Those adds are the most annoying ones in the whole game IMO.

I would advise to use you ping button (even in solo) so you can more easily see where he pops up when he's teleporting. Green fart gas in the way really makes it hard to see him.

running and gunning really helped me with this boss. The map is large enough that you could ignore the adds

Swarm is the BEST mod in the game. It tracks the boss if in range, kills adds and rechargs fast with just one peice of the Ex-Cultist set. Corsus NEEDS to be in Adventure Mode.

He’s a Predator reference. He looks like a Predator and the mission is even called “What The Hell Are You.”
