Bosses in Remnant: From the Ashes covers a compendium of these various special type of Enemies that a player will encounter in the game. Unlike normal Enemies, bosses have a higher amount of health and are distinctively unique with their own set of moves. Defeating a dungeon boss will surely reward players with various items that can be useful when it comes to character progression. Not only do they provide special loot upon defeat, but they also serve as a key to unlocking more areas and quests for story progression.

Boss Variations

There are two types of bosses that you can encounter as you travel to different realms, the following are:

  • Dungeon Boss - this type of boss is considered as a mini-boss which are superior, stronger versions of an elite enemy. Dungeon bosses have a high amount of health, a set of attacks, and have special passive or active abilities. To identify if you are about to enter an arena for a dungeon boss, you'll find the entrance of the arena will be engulfed in fog and a checkpoint. Upon entering the arena, the battle will begin.

  • World Boss  - World bosses are considered as the main bosses of the game, currently, there is no confirmation on how these bosses are encountered but it is safe to assume that these bosses may appear during an event or at the end of it, upon nearing the completion of a realm.

Dynamic Generation

Dynamic Generation will be applied to bosses. As explained in our FAQs page, whenever a player enters a realm, the game dynamically generates a unique layout for pretty much everything, from area layouts, loots will be randomly scattered, NPC locations, enemies, and of course the bosses. As mentioned, each boss has its own unique passive or active ability, and in conjunction with the dynamic generation mechanic, every time a player enters a realm and by chance encounters a boss they've already encountered, its abilities and stats also change, making each encounter a challenge.

You can find detailed information about the Bosses in Remnant: From the Ashes which include its location, attributes, item drops, and more on each individual pages that are linked below. * Please take note that the information listed below is still subject to change.

So let me get this straight. Every campaign there are always two dungeon bosses per world (except Corsus, where there will always be the Unclean One and Ixillis as world bosses and one dungeon boss)? And one has to be fought while the other is out of the way and leads to a one-way gate? That sum the dungeon bosses up? (plus you can get bonus bosses like Ancient Construct, Blink Thief, and Root Horror in addition to dungeon bosses)

So for dungeon bosses, Shroud is a Slayer, Gorefist is a Hulk, Brabus is a cutthroat (common ones are "Henchmen"), Riphide is a Splitter, the Mangler is a Tumbler, Raze is (whatever the smaller versions of him are called), Scourge is a Hive Skull, Maul is a Hound, Shade and Shatter are Anointed, Dream Eater is a Flickering Horror, Barbed Terror is like a Barbstalker, the Warden is a Pan Spearman, Onslaught is a Pan Blink Fiend, Scald is a Pan Archer, Sear is a Zephyr.

What are Stormcaller, the Thrall, and Canker exactly? I haven't been able to pick out which enemies they're bigger versions of yet.

It would be excellent if these bosses could be arranged roughly akin to their order of appearance, with the Earth bosses first, and then the Rhom bosses, then Corsus, the Yaesha.

Alright, so there is a boss missing from this list. I have only ever seen it one time. It was in an Earth Dungeon (one of the ones in the subway area where the root hang from the ceiling). This boss looks almost like a regular root enemy, but every time you get it's health down by (a quarter/third) it will replicate itself by double. I cannot remember what its name was, and I couldnt beat it at the time (this was when the game first came out, and I had it on PS4 at the time). Does anyone know the boss I'm talking about? I cant find it anywhere.

Iskal Queen (Elf Queen) is not a world boss but an event/dungeon boss. Corsus world bosses are Unclean and Ixillis.

Brain Bug from Swamps of Corsus DLC needs to be added to this page. There may also be one other boss from that DLC that isn't currently listed. Riphide still needs to be added.

What’s really sad is that the only thing I see relating to the wiki is the constant question “Where’s Riphide?” The other 95% is just people complaining and crying about ads and bosses. And the occasional positive comment.

My friend is trash at all videogames but always available to play. I've died trying to help him up constantly. Been at a loss using my dragon hearts on him because he did something silly. Today we vs'd Raze for the first time. We got beat the first time and I had to go do some stuff quickly but remained in game. When I got back my friend had solo'd raze despite him being set at 2 player difficulty. The learning curve is there for those who want to learn it. I haven't been overwhelmed with adds at all and I listen for the cues. Having a lot of fun with this game and this wiki is just really toxic. I'm still chilling in my scrapper armour with my shotgun tbh and we just beat undying king.

the adds are annoying but the bosses aren't impossible because of them, just kill the adds, whittle the health of the boss and you'll be set

Most of you in here sound like nothing but little cry babies who don't get their way.. you can't beat a boss fight so you degrade and insult the developer..better go tell momma so she can yell and scold the developer for not giving you exactly what you wanted..

Shroud, Raze, Thrall, Sear & Scald, and Re-animator can all go fall in a hole. Don't get me wrong, they're all doable (to some degree) but holy crap could you get out of here with your teleporting bull*****and absurdly tanky enemies
