Empowering Loop

Status Effect

Increases Ranged damage by 25%, but decrease Fire rate by 10%

Empowering Loop is a Ring and an accessory in Remnant: From the Ashes. Empowering Loop isn't a Craftable Item. Rings provide additional protection or other bonuses to your character, add buffs to the player's Stats, and resistance to Status Ailments. Different accessories have different defense values and are, therefore, more or less effective.

The path of the Iskal is not rigid. To thrive, one must adapt one's actions. Power at the sacrifice of speed may prove prudent.

Much better damage on single shot weapons and decent upgrade to damage and ammo effeciency on large magazine weapons.
Can be gotten by killing Ixillis in hardcore campaign, or the butcher in hardcore adventure mode.
Worth it imo, big upgrade to sniper for early damage spike on new campaigns.

I thought this ring was OP because 20% at the cost of 10% fire speed, which can be countered by gunslingers, and then when I went out of my way to get it I realized I had to go out of my way and kill Ixillis in Corsus, which means going through Corsus.

The one thing that might make me try hardcore mode. Don't get me wrong, I respect the hell out of people who can do it, but I am not that good!

I just got this from the Unclean One while playing adventure mode on hardcore; still have NOT defeated Ixillis in hardcore (despite multiple, infuriating attempts). Maybe the devs changed the requirements? Or did I just get lucky with a bug (rng "feature"). Oh well. Stoked either way. Been grinding this for almost two weeks woot! Good luck to the rest of yall!

I just killed Ixillis In Hardcore to try and get this ring and it didn’t drop. Might be rng. Although, immediately after defeating him and traveling, the game crashed and data was corrupted so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

PSA: Just killed The Butcher on Hardcore mode and got this ring as a reward. I used the ''ambush'' alternate kill, not sure if that matters or not.
