Radiant Set Upgrade Table

Upgrading an armor piece only increases the armor piece's stats and resistances. It does not increase the value of the Armor Skill.

Radiant Set Notes

  • The Armor Skill Level depends on the number of pieces you have equipped. Set pieces may be found from crates/chests, in various locations, purchased from Merchants, and by crafting it.

  • Players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly by opening the character menu.

  • These can be upgraded by crafting and using required various Crafting Materials to increase its attributes.

  • Best used with the Burden of the Gambler, the Braided Thorns and the Executioner trait for a likely 100% Critical Chance.

my build , not shure if all good but managed to melt last boss , is radiant helmet , labyrinth chest and legs , beam rifle with swarm , and smg with iron sentinel(turrets) rings pride of iskal and that one tha gives mod power too , with an amulet the for mod power too

Machine Gun with Swarm + Ricochet Rifle with Hot Shot. Shoot Boss and spam Reload Button for instant reload and you melt almost every Boss, cause a single shot can hit more times if you lucky. Swarm will hold up the crit buff for at least 15 seconds, long enough to kill bosses in normal and hard.

        • The merchant DIED after a beast boss escaped a sealed cave, which later I killed outside.
So... Where to get it? Do I reroll the map until the merchant appears again?
I'm doing it, so, I'll see...

Overall a good set but with a few drawbacks. - Only reaches full potential once you max out the Kingslayer and Executioner trait. - has short buff duration (2s) but works well will automatics. I favore the Assault Rifle w/Hunter's Mark mod. Won't obtain max stacks unless you're fighting bosses or tough minions. - At weight of 66 it's barely considered a heavy armor so you slow roll. - At +20 it has 424 DEF compared to Osseous set which has 393 (difference of 30) yet it's a medium set. I enjoy using it cause you can crank out good dmg but I'm always torn between which items and mods I prefer. I vote to make it a medium set. Even if it means lowering the DEF.

I think some things should not be random in this game. Sure, the map and some bosses, yes. But loot, not so much. I think some stuff should always be in the playthrough but hidden/scrattered about. If you started a Crit build you wouldn't know if it was going work until you got to near end game - depends if Stuck Merchant is there or not.

so you can keep the buff going with a crossbow, but you only get about half a second on your shots. combine it with the mod swarm and all the swarm crits will crank it to a 10 and sustain for greatness during a boss fight

Has anyone got the strange curio but the dungeon did not spawn with the helmet? this seems to have happened to me.

                  • Anonymous

When you find the Stuck Merchant, there's a strange curio in the back of her caravan. It's a key item used in the dungeon behind the locked door near the merchant. You'll have to go through another dungeon to come out behind the locked door, opening the shortcut and access to the dungeon containing the Root Horror boss. Make sure you buy the armor pieces (Dont forget the nice spear) before engaging the Root Horror, as he will leave the dungeon and go kill the merchant when he reaches 50% hp. Return to the merchant after he leaves said dungeon, pick up the guardian's ring next to the merchant's corpse and he will appear. Finish him off for the guardian trait (melee dmg reduc.).

The helmet fir the radiant set is acquired through using the "Strange Curio" you find in the pan merchant's cart in some cave.
