Void Set is an Armor Set in Remnant: From the Ashes. Void Set has an armor skill that provides unique passive abilities (all sets add buffs and effects to various stats).

Where to find Void Set

  • Can be purchased for 2,500 Scrap at Rhom, at The Monolith -  after completing floor tile puzzle. The solution of the puzzle can be found written on the wall at the back of the tower.

  • Solving the Monolith Floor Puzzle: Each of the symbols of the written code on the back of the tower represent one of the 4 directions North, South, East, West. The diagram in the very center of the puzzle shows which symbol means what direction, with "North" being towards the monolith tower and the very starting point of the puzzle is from that diagram. You'll know you're doing the puzzle correctly if the floor panels you step on go down, and stay down, in one continuous path. Once you press the initial starting panel if you step on an incorrect one they will all come back up and random enemies will be spawned nearby.

Void Set Notes

  • The Armor Skill Level depends on the number of pieces you have equipped. Set pieces may be found from crates/chests, in various locations, purchased from Merchants, and by crafting it.

  • Players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly by opening the character menu.

  • These can be upgraded by crafting and using required various Crafting Materials to increase its attributes.

  • After 5 seconds, you will receive a permanent damage bonus buff as long as the armor is equipped. Every time you take damage from an enemy, the damage bonus will be converted into damage reduction buff for 5 seconds which will be refreshed each time you get hit. After 5 seconds of incoming damage, the damage reduction buff will be converted back to damage bonus buff.
  • Beware of the fat roll but if you are fine with it then you are good to go.
  • This set is very useful when you play without being hit because you have a nice 25% damage bonus, and when you are cornered too because you get a 25% increase of defense. Not to mention the armor rate.

Best general use set in the game, imo. If you want a mid roll use with leto's or twisted idol neck piece.

I bought the skin not knowing I needed the armor first on my first play through. Got the armor and the skin isn't available on it. Don't make that mistake. cost me 10glow frags

I'm playing a long range sniper character with the Particle Accelerator in a group with a friend or two and I've been thinking about this armor over the Hunter armor. The 25% damage would most likely stay forever since I rarely get close enough to be hit, but if something gets near me then the armor value and damage reduction would make it so I can deal with them easier. Anybody else have thoughts about this decision?

          • Additionally, there is a timer, if you wait about 5-8 seconds after stepping on a button without stepping on another, it automatically counts as incorrect and triggers the enemies.

Just playing with a few people in hardcore mode who also play it on nightmare and they both were this armor. They seem pretty good with the game. I need to test this but I have a feeling that fat roll does not really compare to dark souls, I expect this to be not that big of a difference here.

              • A bit of OPINIONATED trivia, this armor set bears a strong resemblance to the Fallout series Power Armor more specifically T-45d power armor with the large shoulder pads, but slimmer and more streamlined chest with the helmet being completely unique. The similar blue-grey color-scheme is a nice touch.

This page is a mess ot discribes basic armor concepts on a page for a set when it should be only on a general page its missing most of the upgrade levels the skill discription is completely incorrect, and if it wasnt enough to include the general ways armor works before any of the info on how the set itself actually fumctions im particular in most sections much of this general information is restated at the bottom of the page for some reason. Deleting this i would understand deleting this and not fixing any of it would just be petty and lazy.

The door on the floor (middle of puzzle) has four runes on it, one to each side. A "password" that uses those runes will be on a random nearby wall. Follow its directions on the puzzle to unlock the floor door and get the Void set. My password was right next to the shortcut gate, for reference.

-use Wildifre Shot Mod or Hive Shot to procc the set bonus -the heavy weight can be countered with Leto's Amulet. note also that u can do a quick dodge by dodging without holding any directional key and this kind doesnt seem to be affected by the extra weight.

Beware the fat-roll. Good against single big bois that swing hard and require one dodge. Bad against hordes if you get surrounded and get killed fat-rolling to 0 stamina. Weight affects your stamina usage big time. I lost about 1/3rd of my total dodges going from 21 weight Hunter armor to this 70 weight Void armor. Also, I don't recommend it in the swamps.

This is this game's version of Havel's set. It's strong, heavy, and you get it through a puzzle rather than buying or crafting it. If you plan to do a Melee run, get this set plus bark skin and you'll be basically playing Dark Souls with Havel.
