Upgrading an armor piece only increases the armor piece's stats and resistances. It does not increase the value of the Armor Skill.

Hunter Set Notes
- The Nightstalker Skin that could be pre-ordered has been made available with the base game.
- The spread reduction stacks with the Iskal Hunter Band and the Handling trait
- The Armor Skill Level depends on the number of pieces you have equipped. Set pieces may be found from crates/chests, in various locations, purchased from Merchants, and by crafting it.
- Players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly by opening the character menu.
- These can be upgraded by crafting and using required various Crafting Materials to increase its attributes.
AnonymousThis set now creates a little stupid balance situation: we played with friends & friend walk in "Drifter set".
After some experiments we opened this: damage between sets has no useful difference - all about near 20 points, while shooting the weakspots, and no diff for usual shooting. AND! "Drifter" has more armor than "Hunter", light weight, high stamina regen for rolls, noob-easy stacking, enough time to shoot between buff coolings, and buff amplifies melee damage.
Seems like "Hunter" is useless set now. GG's must fix this. For example:
+(2,5 \ 5 \ 10)% ranged damage, and +(10 \ 20 \ 40)% weakspot damage.

Anyone please share me a detail? this set give us 20% + 20% bonus (range + weak spot ) or just 20 in total when hit the weak spot with range?

Forget old comments. Best armor in the game now. Light armor + 20% ranged damage no matter what. any meter shot is 20%. gg armor set 21 aug 2020

Needs to be updated. The range requirement has been reduced to ten meters and the armor now gives 15% weak spot bonus damage base.

Ive seen people with a darker colour red stripe versions of this set, the mask had red flames on it. i figured it would change when i upgrade it to 20 but nope, so how do you get that?
This armor get a change, now it gives 7%/15%/25% ranged damage on targets greater than 15 meters away

So Scrapper set gives +25% within 5 meters, Hunters set +25% past 15 meters, so a 10 meter zone with no boost? Interesting.
One of the best sets in the game and you potentially start with it.
