Scavenger's Set Notes
-
The Armor Skill Level depends on the number of pieces you have equipped. Set pieces may be found from crates/chests, in various locations, purchased from Merchants, and by crafting it.
-
Players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly by opening the character menu.
-
These can be upgraded by crafting and using required various Crafting Materials to increase its attributes.

If only it also increased mod damage - I like being able to do a bit of everything. It feels arbitrary on a lot of the sets which KINDS of damage they end up boosting.

Got mine bugged! No idea when but picking up scrap no longer gives the damage boost! (Luckily the magnetizing scrap is handy).Think maybe something to do with equipping only one piece? No idea.

What a useless piece of crap... and it looks so cool too :( Guess they added some of the new armors for the sake of adding something and gonna rework/buff them later.
This armor set is dead on arrival. Avoiding damage is hard enough in a game where 5+ enemies are constantly attacking you with projectiles, but the reward for avoiding damage is just pitiful. Not ONLY do you need to find 10/5 item drops to fill the passive 20% damage bonus, you lose 5 stacks for EACH instance of damage. With no other notable special effects and/or features of the armor, you're actively choosing to hamstring yourself by using this. Almost every other armor set in the game gives more bonus damage than this set, and in ways that don't significantly alter the way you play.
For the sake of argument, let's assume you don't lose stacks on taking damage. That makes this an armor set with a constant 20% damage bonus after collecting 10 drops. Which is just what the Hunter's Set does, with the added benefit of 20% increased weakspot damage AND reducing the spread of firearms by 60%. Without having to tediously collect drops.
If you want me to play farmville in your FPS, the reward is going to need to be worth it.

The Characters beard glitches through the cloth part of the helmet
Does anyone know if buffs from the set and ring are intentionally deactivated if you are a guest? Or is it currently a bug?
