I too, in adventure mode, only had 2 dungeons, thus only two glowing rods

Just did a double-check, these do not respawn during the same session. It could be that you only find 2 glowing rods in one session = you gotta create a new adventure/campaign if you want to obtain the last set item in Vault of the Herald.

wow. you have to search for these in every corner, but the level design in this game is very bad. some areas just have repeating assets ad infinitum so it gets hard to remember which corners you checked and didn't. I don't understand how such a poorly made game got good reviews.

guys , can i use the glowing rod from the adventure mode in the main quest ?

Went around the map twice in Adventure mode looking for the last rod and could not find it.. Since it's a smaller map, you may only find two of them. In campaign mode if you get the vault dungeon, you may be able to find the third one. In Adventure mode don't sweat it if you only find two.

It seems possible for adventure mode rhom to spawn only 2 of these if it happens to only spawn two dungeons. I had an adventure where the west was my start point, north west was a dungeon (containing one) that lead to the east, northeast was the claviger bossfight (no dungeon, didn't contain one) and southwest was the vault dungeon (which contained the second control rod).

I have searched every Rhom dungeon in my current campaign twice and was only able to find 2 of these. Could anyone confirm that the chance of a 3rd being collectible in the same playthrough is random ?

I managed to find one in the Burrows in Rhom. I wonder if the locations are just randomized.

The third glowing rod is at the concourse of the sun and that's also where you get the beam rifle

Only 2 available per playthrough, so obtaining all 3 pieces of the Akari set requires joining another player and opening the door you have remaining or rerolling your campaign and going for them again. Right door is helmet, middle is chest, and left is legs.
