Twisted Idol

Status Effect
Increases Armor Effectiveness by 30% and reduces Encumbrance by 15.

Twisted Idol is an Amulet and an accessory in Remnant: From the Ashes. Twisted Idol isn't a Craftable Item. Amulets provide additional protection or other bonuses to your character, add buffs to the player's Stats, and resistance to Status Ailments. Different accessories have different defense values and are, therefore, more or less effective.

The whispers'll protect you if you let 'em. They'll kill you if you let 'em, too.

Where to find Twisted Idol

  • Drop by Wailing Tree: Shoot the tree to start a wave based fight, lasting until the tree is killed. This will reward the player with the Twisted Idol, and lock the player out from obtaining the Bark Skin Trait for this run.

Twisted Idol Notes

  • Players can only equip one Amulet
  • To manage and equip an amulet, open the Character Menu and cycle to the accessories slot below the Armor slots.

This synergize quite well with Leto's set, reducing the weight of the set from ultra heavy to heavy to allow rolling with the set. Also, the high armor effectiveness of the Leto's set would be benefit quite a lot from the 30% increased armor effectiveness.

You can get the tree event on Adventure Mode, so if you saved or killed the tree in Story Mode, you can still get the other one without resetting your entire save. Just thought I'd point that out.
