Swiftness is a Trait in Remnant: From the AshesTraits are special passive abilities tied to character progression. They provide a large variety of effects including increasing core stats, improving offensive and defensive capabilities or providing quality of life upgrades. Remnant Swiftness Trait Effect Information

The Swiftness Trait increases Movement Speed by +0.75% per Trait Point invested, up to a maximum of +15% Movement Speed at Level 20.

The bonus Movement Speed granted by Swiftness is a general movement boost that allows for much quicker traversal across the different worlds, their environments and dungeons. As a general Movement Speed modifier, Swiftness also improves other movement-related effects and Traits such as World Walker and Footwork. Maxing out this Trait provides a high value quality of life improvement that will significantly enhance player capabilities both in and out of combat, allowing them to get from point A to B faster, as well as keep mobile during firefights.

How to Obtain Swiftness in Remnant: From the Ashes

The Swiftness Trait can be unlocked as follows:

  • In Yaesha, players can encounter several Bell Puzzles, each comprised of 5 bells in a line that can be shot in particular orders to play a tune and receive rewards. The Swiftness Trait can be obtained from any of these puzzles by playing the Song of the Guardian tune.
  • To play the tune, shoot the bells in the following order: 1-1-3-4-1-1-3-2, with each number representing each bell's position from left to right.

Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness Notes & Tips

  • Additional Notes for the Swiftness Trait go here.
  • All Traits can be ranked up by spending Trait Points on them. Trait Points are acquired primarily by obtaining Experience Points and leveling up. Every 1,500 Experience Points obtained grants 1 Trait Point.
  • Trait Points can also be acquired by finding and picking up Tomes of Knowledge which randomly spawn in the major locations of each world.
  • Traits can be reset by using an Orb of Undoing, acquired at the end of main Campaign. After completing the Campaign, these orbs can then be purchased from Reggie in Ward 13 for 2,500 Scrap apiece.

Got the perk from the Flautist Bell using the beam rifle. Got curious and played the song again on the bells in the Doe Shrine and actually got a free trait point. Further testing yielded that every new instance of the Doe Shrine dungeon gave a free trait point.

The code above works. If you have a hard time getting it use a single shot (Hunting Rile) and do it quick, if you take too long it wont work even with the right code

How is anyone supposed to guess that crap? You never get this trait without a guide, that is just stupid.

          • FYI. I tried the above several times without luck. I tried some other codes I found. No luck. It was my gun I was using the eye of the storm. I switched to hunting pistol and the above code worked first try.

Where do you find the combination / hint that this can happen? Is it in a book that randomly spawns or what?

                Pan Flautist was the name of the fast travel area. Giant Ram statue with a guy playing a flute. 1 - 1 - 3 - 4 - 1 - 1 - 3 - 2 This area was not in my first 2 playthroughs.

                • I can confirm I was in the dungeon that had the bells at the end of it with the Deer/Ram Statue behind them. Starting from the bell at the far Left 1,1,3,4,1,1,3,2 this unlocked the swiftness trait for me this is a picture of the room i was in to better show you what bells i was using i believe any bells tho will work
