Machine Pistol is a Hand Gun and one of the Weapons in Remnant: From the Ashes in Subject 2923 DLC. 

 

You wouldn't belive how much firepower you can find in them old "science" facilities. Almost as if they knew what was coming 

Where to find Machine Pistol

  • Machine Pistol can be found at Ward Prime. You'll have to restore the power to the main floor (Where the blast doors are located) and then go inside the small office located on the right part of the building.
  • Interact with the computer located in the middle and press "Enter Password". You'll need to enter the following digits:
    • 2
    • 4
    • 1
    • 3
    • 5
    • 1

  • The door will open and you'll acquire the Machine Pistol

 

How to use Machine Pistol

  • Better than the Submachine Gun in damage, fire rate, accuracy, range and recoil; but its magazine is a lot smaller.
  • Highest Fire rate of any weapon in the game.
  • Requires Hand Gun Ammo.
  • A Weapon Mod can be slotted into this weapon.

  • Machine Pistol previously had a instant mod charge exploit which was patched approximately a week after the Swamps of Corsus went live. to do this simply fire the beetle swarm and a burst of the weapons primary cannon and you would have instantly charged weapon mods

    • This gun goes through bullets like Guinness goes through a drunk, but MAN is it fun to use!!! Far more accurate than the Submachine gun. Best when paired with a powerful rifle like the Shotgun or Coach Gun. Really, it goes well with anything. What a treat.

          The Machine Pistol feels really consistent and smooth. To get the most out of it you'll want to burst fire it. Additionally, this weapon doesn't seem to attract much attention at all whenever you fire it so you can shred lone enemies without raising much suspicion.

          I dunno how large the sound profile is but it's really small from my experience. Missed shots will still grab enemies attention though!

          Overall, a solid weapon and a welcome addition to the variety of secondaries in the game!

            SMG does more damage over time. more bullets in the clip, less total reload time. SMG's average dps from full ammunition is 15% higher compared to this pistol. On the other side, due to its better range and accuracy, it can become the main weapon when paired with a shotgun.

                One of the highest base DPS weapons in the game, a better alternative to the SMG all around. Can recharge your mod pretty quick too, put a hotshot mod on it if you're not running the Chicago

                  Why aren't you filling in the damage? For all weapons, it always increases exactly three times from the base value. +10 = 24 damage

                  • Disappointed really, if I compared it to the Submachinegun it has slightly more damage and fire-rate. In the Submachinegun if you use Pillar of Stone and Iskal Hunter Band you can make it more decent. If you want to add more damage just use Hot Shot mod too.
                    Now IF the Machinepistol was a burst fire , now that would be interesting.
