Fusion Rifle Notes
- Fire rate increases up to roughly 12 at 5 charges.
- Without charges of mod power, this weapon features the lowest DPS of the game.
- Mod power decays at a very slow rate; the power generation provided by the Gift of the Iskal or the Cultist's Set is much higher.
- You can stop the mod power decay by damaging an ally or a summon.
- You can't use Fusion Cannon while reloading the weapon.

Pair this with either the gift of the iskal or a piece of the ex-cultist set (I like using the hat for fashion). The mod regen is greater then the decay, so it'll always be at max fire rate until you use the mod

Is it just me, or is this weapon just really weak? I used it to beat Haarsgard as you're supposed to (although I couldn't work out how to get the mod to work, for some reason it only fires if I hold the button rather than just pressing it, and I had no time to read what it did anyway in mid-battle), but when I started a new base campaign and brought it to bear against the first root enemies in the city, it took 6 or 7 shots just to down even one. So I put it away, pulled out my fully-upgraded Devastator again, and went back to cheerfully 1-shotting them. This just doesn't seem to do any real DAMAGE.

One of the most satisfying weapons to use. Ultra-high rate of fire for the hordes with a big ol' plasma cannon for the elites. Simple and efficient.

This weapon is good for is mod not for is fast shooting. 27 damg is low so if you build crit this will comeout as ****. But if you build for mod is gonna be different. In the latest update this mod dear max 2,180dmg. Combine with all set boots mod damg you will get around 5k damg and 4s/1 max stack shoot. Very ridiculous dps.

anyone know the firerate at max mod?
I feel like it could a better gun than the beam rifle.

So this weapon got nerfed with the recent patch today?
(August 28th, 2020)
Couldve swore its Weapon Mod used to do MORE damage than it says now..

Absolutely broken even on Nightmare. The closest thing you gonna get to a minigun

One piece of the cultist set is enough to charge it to max with maxed Spirit trait
Not sure what you guys in the comments are on about, but this thing absolutely shreds, even on Nightmare/Apocalypse... especially with the right build. For those who don’t understand how the weapon works, or are comparing the damage numbers to the AR/typewriter, this gun has a secondary effect where it’s RoF increases based on how many charges the mod has built up, meaning it’s overall DPS is much higher than other automatic weapons.
I recommend pairing it with: 3pc Osseous (3pc Radiant works great too), Gunslinger’s Mark, and whatever two rings you like; Braided Thorns, Empowering/Devouring Loop, Hunter’s Band, or any of the awesome new ones. But GM really makes this thing shine. Run Hive Cannon in your secondary, pop the Hive Cannon mod at a boss to build up corrosive stacks, swap to the Fusion Rifle.. and it’s lights out.

Use this with Radiant set,
Gunslinger Charm,
Braided Thorns, Devouring Loop, hunters mark mod in pistol. At max mod charges you get your radiant set buff fast and you shred everything.

weapon damage is so weak, the weapon is cool and all but base damage is very low
Why did someone go out of they're way to cheat this weapon in to get values for under +9? It can only be obtained legitimately at +9 and +10

I feel like the base damage on the gun is really low. The Alt fire is nice but even on Hard with the new Warlord set active and dps rings etc this gun feels incredibly weak.

weapon is bugged we get kicked and says possible cheating on the server

"dealing up to 1,1152 damage." ??? does it mean 1,152? or is the comma in the wrong place?
I just got it and im completely in love! This is how the tommy gun should have been designed honestly
