Creeper's Peepers is a Random Event in Remnant: From the Ashes. Random events act like side quests where players need to complete some requests in order to obtain a reward. The events may or may not appear on your play through, requiring a restart for a chance of getting them.
Creeper's Peepers Location
- Location: Reisum - Watcher's Hollow
Creeper's Peepers Description
- You'll begin this Random Event at Watcher's Hollow. Finish the dungeon and at the end you'll find the Servant Cage Key.
- Use the key to open the cage at the beginning of the dungeon. There you will find several Emin. Look for one with a false, green eye. Kill him to acquire the Creeper's Peeper. Note: if you only kill the correct one you'll also acquire the Swashbuckler's Signet.
- Head outside the Dungeon and search the wider area for the statue with a missing eye. Insert the Creeper's Peeper into the statue and the door behind it will open.
- Head inside and pick up the Twin Shot.

I wanted to see the ring in action before leaving the dungeon, but instead I found out that the servants aren't affected by melee...

Made this work in the Subject whateverthe**** campagin. Statue was right around the corner from the portal where I entered Reisum. The Dungeon was close to the end of Reisum.
One of the Emin had a very very green right eye, was facing the door. Didn't look any different from the other Emin save for the eye. It took me a little while to find the right one, it's not super obvious. Shot only that one, got the eye and the Signet. I assume, since the Signet is awarded immediately, that all you need to do is shoot the green-eyed one FIRST. Didn't test this because I'm not a monster.
Judging from the way Remnant handles similar Events, I think it's entirely possible for the game to spawn the statue in your game but not the Creeper's Peepers event and vice versa.
Also, can we talk about how utterly ****ed up this event is? I had to google what is up with the caged slaves that don't leave when you free them. Like I left for Ward 13 and came back and they were still there. I never EVER would have even considered that murdering the slaves would be a good idea? Because y'know... that's super ****ed up? What kind of person designs a Quest like this, where you find a bunch of slaves, look for the one with the visible disability and then murder that one and get rewarded with treasure?
Did nobody on the team look at this and wonder if they should maybe not do this?
It seriously completely alienated me from my own character. This would have been bad enough if you'd instead demanded the eye as compensation for freeing the Emin. THat would already have been sketch, but the way things are, your only recourse is absolutely senseless murder.

Found the statue near the end of a level its a very obvious part of the map that branches out to a small half circle, you'll know it when you see it.

The rat didn't have a green eye for me I just had a different fur pattern right under its eye. It was light gray

For me, it spawned in an entirely different region, after another boss or two

Anyone know if it's a sure thing that the statue will spawn if you get the eye? I've scoured Reisum and I can't seem to find it.

I've got the creeper's peeper item with the Swarm mod flying around, half dungeon.
It got adquired by surprise, even having to reach to the cage nor the key to open it.
HOWEVER, Didnt get the swashbuckler thou, because it appears the swarm kill, not my own?. Unsure.
Do not reccomend using that mod while in this dungeon

The rat with a left green eye will have its back towards you

The statue that spawns doesn't have to be right outside of the dungeon. For me it spawned a bit south. It is like a half moon shape and it was across from the world boss.
For some odd reason, the rat with the green eye wasnt looking at the door as all the others, so it was really easy to find them.
