Armor Set Bonus

Harden

After avoiding damage for 15s, armor hardens 1x per piece granting damage reduction. Damage removes a stack. If all stacks are removed, gain 10% bonus Movement Speed per piece (30%Max) for 5s. Increases Total damage from all sources by 5% per piece.

Carapace Shell is a Body Armor and an Armor piece in Remnant: From the Ashes. Carapace Shell is part of the Carapace Set. Each set piece consists of an armor skill that provides unique passive abilities which adds buffs and effects to various stats.

Where to find Carapace Shell

  • Can be purchased from Mar'Gosh. To be able to purchase you need to be infected with Parasite and you'll need a Hardened Carapace.

 

Carapace Shell Upgrade Table

Upgrading an armor piece only increases the armor value. It does not increase the value of the Armor Skill.

Carapace Shell Notes

  • The Armor Skill Level depends on the number of pieces you have equipped. Set pieces may be found from crates/chests, in various locations, purchased from Merchants, and by crafting it.

  • Players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly by opening the character menu.

  • These can be upgraded by crafting and using required various Crafting Materials to increase its attributes.
