After avoiding damage for 15s, armor hardens 1x per piece granting damage reduction. Damage removes a stack. If all stacks are removed, gain 10% bonus Movement Speed per piece (30%Max) for 5s. Increases Total damage from all sources by 5% per piece.

Where to find Carapace Shell

  • Can be purchased from Mar'Gosh. To be able to purchase you need to be infected with Parasite and you'll need a Hardened Carapace.

 

Carapace Shell Upgrade Table

Upgrading an armor piece only increases the armor value. It does not increase the value of the Armor Skill.

Carapace Shell Notes

  • The Armor Skill Level depends on the number of pieces you have equipped. Set pieces may be found from crates/chests, in various locations, purchased from Merchants, and by crafting it.

  • Players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly by opening the character menu.

  • These can be upgraded by crafting and using required various Crafting Materials to increase its attributes.
