Hulk is an enemy in Remnant: From the Ashes. Enemies are hostile creatures that inhabit the different realms that you'll encounter, each enemy that is seen is unique by its appearance and set of attacks. Killing a basic enemy drops common items while elite enemies drop rare items upon death.

Hulk Information

  • Hulks... I seen these monsters tear through barricades like they were made of paper. They don’t give a damn about bullets or pain or anything but charging headlong and smashing everything within reach. When I was a kid, I thought the Hulks were the worst thing the Root could throw at us.
    Oh, I was wrong though.
  • Dealing enough damage during their charge will disrupt the charge and stun them for a short duration.
  • As an elite enemy it has a chance to drop Lumenite Crystals.

Hulk Notes & Tips

  • Also called "Brute" or "Root Brute" by in-game characters.
  • Basic Enemies respawn whenever a player or a team rests at a checkpoint.
  • To identify if an elite enemy spawns in the area, players can hear a chime which indicates it to be in pursuit or if it is around.
  • In Co-op Play, depending on the number of players in a team, enemy scaling increases by the number, as well as its health, and damage.

Really wish you could get the sword that these things use in the new update ‘cause think about it, Leto’s armor is ****ing huge so it makes sense it would come with a huge sword

In game player characters call these things Root Brutes. Also, they have a handful of attacks. 1. When there is quite a distance between themselves and the player(s) they will drag their weapon behind them as they charge. Once in range, they will perform an uppercut. Unless the Brute takes a lot of damage or simply cannot reach the player (aka being forced to go through a window) they will cease charging until they are in range. 2. If a player is really close (hugging distance practically) they'll perform a backhand attack with their free hand. Very short range, but also fairly quick as far as their attacks go. 3. If their target is roughly five meters or so away (between backhand range but not far enough to provoke a charge) they'll perform a horizontal sweep with their weapon that covers a lot of ground. 4. They can also perform an overhead slam as well which is performed in the same range as the horizontal sweep. While I cannot confirm completely, I believe they also perform the horizontal sweep and overhead slam on any targets behind them as well. All of their attacks will send anyone hit sprawling onto their backs, making them vulnerable to any nearby enemies. Also, while they lack a weak point, their legs (possibly arms to) are not as protected as their chest and head are.
