Navun Lore

• Navun was one of the Immortal Empress' sentries on Yaesha and shared the fruit of the tree of immortality the Thaen.
  
  The Empress controls the nobility through her control over the Thaen the Tree of Life. The empress gave them immortality to serve her, and to serve her the noble oppress the Pan. Navun knew of this and despised it but continued to serve to keep her immortality.
  
  The fruit of Thaen makes the nobles immortal, but the tree is long dead and it is a secret known only to the Empress' house. The nobles suspect it but since they receive the fruit that have been preserved in the Empress' storehouse they do not question.
  
  The fruit supplies dwindled and the nobility became agitated: therefore, to appease the nobles, the Empress accused the village Xoca of stealing and ordered their execution. Navun was among those who were sent. Because of this event Navun turned on the Empress. Now, she leads the rebelling peasants against the Empress.
  
  She later met Ford when the nobles trapped Ford and his men in a cave and slaughtered them. Navun found him wounded and far from the cave, and healed him. She then helped him get back home. Ford returned many times to help her in building the rebellion against the Empress. In his last trip from Earth, he told Navun he wanted to stay and live on Yaesha and help the rebels fight. The two became close friends over the course of their work. Ford was captured later to be used as a bait to lure Navun out because she was their target, being the rebels' leader. She showed remorse over his capture and felt responsible for it.
  
  
• Because of the Thaen fruit's effect on her, Navun ages slowly.
